Took my mom to an appointment and
scored more Taralli and some Pasta fagiole.
One of the perks of being nice.
She also gave me the Taralli recipe.
Not sure if I have the dexterity or the patience
but I might clear a day next week and try it.

Six to Seven eggs. Beat in 4 tbsp sugar.
Add an espresso cup full of veg. oil. Beat.
Add enough flour to make a glossy, pizza dough consistency.
Roll out and tear off chunks roll into donut shaped pieces.
Bring a large pot of water to boil.
Slip donuts into water. Three or four at a time.
When they pop up to the top of the water take them out.
When they pop up to the top of the water take them out.
Dry them on a clean dish towel for about four hours.
Take your oven racks out of the oven. Put the oven at 400 degrees F.
Put your dried donuts onto the racks and put them into the oven for 10 minutes
and then bring down the temperature to 350 degrees.
Watch and take them out when they are brown and dry.
Good Luck. Will keep you posted on next week's try.
