Mornings are supper busy at my house and I only have two boys,
a husband and a dog.
need to give up all sense of self if I want the morning to run smoothly.
I need to bust it the night before if I want a smooth transition in the morning.
Plus I got to get up at least 45 minutes before everyone else so that
I can have a shower
I can have a coffee
I can write three pages in my journal
BTW... this rarely, if ever, happens
If the night before I'm feeling quite energetic
- I'll set the coffee for a 6am start
- Get my clothes out and ready for the next morning
- Tidy up the kitchen and the front hall
- Empty dishwasher
- Make sure all the cell phones are charging
- Make sure I have good things for breakfasts and for lunches
- Maybe scootch on over to the 24-hour Metro for last minute food
- Put in a load of laundry, iron all the stuff in the ironing pile (quite large at the moment)
- Have all the laundry baskets ready to deposit into the appropriate rooms
- Tidy up the bathrooms #1 and #2 (I have four, God help me)
- Make sure the printer has paper and there's new printer ink cartridges just in case (this last thing is sooooo important as "oh, yah I forgot about this project" ( a.k.a. kill me now) happens quite alot over here)
Do you know what....
if ever I did this,
I'd be able to go to yoga
Which I absolutely adore and hardly ever
Have time to go to.
