I am a Star Wars Geek Freak

Do you ever walk down the street and
The feeling of the day...
The feeling I had this morning...
Was the same air, breeze, temperature, lighting
Of another day.

Here is where my geekness comes out.
This day, this morning,
Has the same feel as the day I stood in line to watch
The Empire Strikes Back
At the University Theatre
On Bloor Street
It was on May 23rd 1980
I got to the line at around 10am
There was one other person there.
A guy; another geek.
I think the pretentious book he was reading,
(because we all had pretentious books we were reading)
Was "Sheep Look Up" by John Brunner.
I think I had "The Fountainhead" by Ayne Rand.
What an idiot.
But I LOOOOOVVVVEEED That Movie
Here was the poster for it.

I had to tell you about this because I also found
An info graphic of the movie from the FastCompany guys.
Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back was great -- easily the best of the all the Star Wars movies ever made. Problem is, it's been shown so many times on TV that it can be hard to actually watch the movie -- it's too familiar, and you know it too well. It's almost descended into a three-hour long cliche. (Heresy, I know!)
Well, here's an infographic that might help you experience the movie anew, by seeing it retold in another format entirely. Created by Wayne Dorrington, who calls himself a "six foot-three slightly overweight ginger-bearded four-eyed socially awkward senior digital designer & illustrator," the chart simply retells the entire movie in icons. Every scene is there -- all 63 of them.  http://www.fastcodesign.com/1663663/infographic-of-the-day-star-wars-retold-in-icons

Then... I just had to show you this ad.
May the force be with you today and always.
